Adlai E. Stevenson I/David B. Hill (Democratic), 140 Electoral votes, 6,118,275 Popular votes (43.71%)
 
William McKinley presided over what became known as the Second Era of Good Feelings in the aftermath of the Spanish-American War. He easily won reelection in 1904 with his Vice President.

Taft began riding on McKinley's popularity, which led him to victory. However, the Progressive movement is rising, and with no Roosevelt, it's rising in the Democrats.....
