Cold War with a red Norway and Greece

Considering that Norway and Greece can be considered to be at "extremes" of Europe and also neighbouring the communist bloc in one way or another, how might the Cold War have played out differently had the two been overrun by the Soviets in World War Two (or subject to communist coups shortly after the war, Czech style) and become part of the Warsaw Pact? I have a few ideas.

1. Much more funding for the Royal Air Force. Norway's possession by the Soviets gives a direct path for their aircraft over the North Sea towards Britain, and one would assume the RAF would be given a greater share of resources to counter this.
2. The Mediterranean becomes a hot zone. Greece would be perfect for its warm water ports and the Soviet Navy would likely rely on it quite a bit. I'd imagine the Mediterranean thus gains a far greater reputation for flashpoints, and that Soviet involvement in the Suez Crisis may well become far more significant as a result.
3. Pro-Soviet stance for Sweden. They're effectively surrounded and they'd likely have to go the same political route as Finland. Thus the Baltic likely becomes a Soviet lake.

Occupation of norway would have been seen as unacceptable by both west and norway due to strategic location. There are no historical military grievances, its not seen as a traditional russian sphere of interest and it would have little to no support in norway proper. You have to find some reason to get around this. There is a good reason why the soviets stopped in finnmark.

I'm pretty skeptical this could happen, but it would bring the navies of the USSR and NATO into direct conflict. They would be able to station the Red Banner Fleet extremely close to Britain at any of Norway's excellent ports, and it would seriously damage NATO's OTL plan to interdict Soviet Naval Aviation in the North Atlantic.

In the Mediterranean, it would be a flashpoint indeed. I suspect the Italy would do a great big naval buildup, and Turkey would be an army masquerading as a state on a level impressing Israel or Prussia.

If this could somehow happen (which I doubt, but I'll roll with it), it would have interesting political affects. Enver Hoxha definitely wouldn't denounce the USSR or the Warsaw Pact, and if he went nuts and decided to do it the Soviets would rapidly intervene. The reason he was able to do it IOTL was that his neighbors were either neutral (Yugoslavia) or NATO (Greece).
