Cold War Turns Hot subgenre.

Greetings from Twitter. I was listening to Cody’s Althistoryhub Timeline Iceberg, and he referenced this forum so often, that I thought it would make sense to drop in.

Over in Twitter we have a small community of Military Fiction readers and writers. At our Core are a group of Authors writing “Cold War Turns Hot” Alternate Histories. I thought I’d post some of our work in this thread, just to get the word out. CWTH is such a niche in the AH community, that I have to cast as wide a net as I can 😊. If you want to join us, you can check it out here:

First up is: TK Blackwood’s “Iron Crucible” series.

I really enjoyed this series. Having the PoD back in the 60s was a nice touch, and the easter eggs of small changes to the timeline are pretty cool.

Thanks for reading,

We also have Bart and Joel in our group. Their "Northern Fury" was also the basis for a major Campaign in the game "Command: Modern Operations." Much like TK, he kicks off the war in the 1990s!

This is a well written and edited book, and we're holding out of the sequel soon.

In today's post, we have not a book, but rather, a blog! Mike Cee's World War III 1987. This is a great project. Mike has really put a lot of time and effort into it, and it shows.

Did you think you were going to get away without a CWGH update today? Now way! The newest member of our #Warporn community on Twitter is

Harvey Black! His Cold War Goes Hot story kicks off in the Mid 80s. I have to be honest, I haven't read it yet, so let me know if you have an opinion on it!
