Coburgs in Russia

The studfarm of Europe supplied their Princess Juliane to Russia " as ancient Athens supplied Crete with maids for the minotaur" in the mid-1790s. She was married to Tsetsarevich Konstantin Pavlovich in 1796. The marriage was unhappy and they separated in 1799, with Juliane (now Grand Duchess Anna Feodorovna) departing for her native Germany in 1801. Here, she had two bastard kids in 1808 and 1812. The marriage to Konstantin was finally dissolved in 1820.

What if Juliane/Anna had been able to produce a child - a son - in those three years. How might Grand Duke Konstantinovich affect matters? Does it spur Alexander I on to greater efforts with Empress Yelizaveta? Does Sasha adopt the boy as his heir? How do Paul and Marie Feodorovna handle the situation?

Discuss.

It seems that it was Juliane, who was more unhappy with him as "An attempt by Constantine in 1814 to win her back broke down in the face of her firm opposition."

So it they have a son born in 1797, this means he will be 26, in 1823, when his uncle Alexander in OTL, secretly removed his brother Constantine from the order of succession and appointed his youngest brother Nicholas heir presumptive.

Would he do this now that there is a 28 year old nephew who could be Tsar

Alexander decides not to remove his brother Constantine from the order of succession.
However Constantine does not want to be Tsar. Negotiations are worked on.
Documents are signed. The proclamation is made that Grand Duke Paul, Constantine's son, shall be the Tsarevitch.

This piqued my interest when I came across it on wikipedia: apparently Anna petitioned her brother-in-law, the Tsar, for a divorce. The idea of divorce was refused by Maria Feodorovna, Dowager Empress partly out of fear that Konstantin would marry morganatically and partly out of concern for Anna's reputation. Thus, what if Maria Feodorovna is LESS concerned with Anna's reputation and allows the divorce to go through?
