Civil War Economic Policy by Party Factions

So I'm working on the update for my timeline (in signature), and I had a question. I would have posted this in my thread, but I figure that making it a separate thread might help other people also doing projects centered on the Civil War era since the question is about specifically OTL:

What were the economic policies of the various political parties and their factions during the Civil War and even into Reconstruction? I have heard and read a lot about the policies of the various parties/factions towards slavery, African American rights, and former Confederates, but I have never heard much about their economic policies.

The factions I'm interested in:
-Radical Republicans
-conservative Republicans (I have never officially seen this listed as a faction, but more of a wing of the party. It's a faction in my timeline, which is why I'm interested in it)
-War Democrats
-Peace Democrats (aka Copperheads)

Any help in this area, whether it's providing the answers or reading material, would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to flesh out the political parties in my timeline beyond just "How do they feel about slavery/African Americans?" or "How do they feel about ex-Confederates?", so this would be very helpful.
