Civil war and Nullification in 1832

Hi everybody.....
So I have been reading about the Tariffof Abominations and the Nullification crisis in 1832, the Force bill, and Henry Clay's compromise. So I was wondering what would have happened if Clay had not been able to peacefuly end the crisis? Does it resault in a civil war?how would this war go if it happened? what happens to America after? What kind of butterflies does it cause?

South Carolina would secede, and Jackson would promptly have the rebellion crushed. The only long-term effect I could forsee would be greater anti-Northern sentiment, contributing to an earlier Civil War.

Depending on Jackson's reaction its possible his reaction starts the Civil War.
