During 1990, there was talks of Toho studios entering talks with Miramax to distribute the film in the west, but talks broke down and Toho later sued Miramax, And later causing the film to be delayed and getting released on VHS by HBO in 1992.
But what if the talks hadn't broken down and the movie is released into western theaters,
would the movie if it was released, give Godzilla some small/medium time popularity, or would the movie be ridiculed like the franchise itself in western views.
If the movie was slightly successful, would it have caused the rest of the Heisei series to get theatrical releases?.
Would the possible butterflies from this POD cause the original 1996 Jan De Bont Version of Godzilla to be released instead of the horrendous Roland Emmerich version in 1998?
