Church of Christ as Majority

What if the Church of Christ grew beyond its normal rate in the original timeline and managed to gain a 51% majority instead of the current ~10% minority?

Take note that this organization, while not allowing their members to enter politics, is quite known in the Philippines for its bloc voting.

How will this boom in the group's serial number affect history within the nation, as well as within the region?

Scenario 1: This happens in the 1990s.

Scenario 2: This happens in the 1970s instead.

Scenario 3: This happens in the 1950s.

You need Manalo to tone down on his extreme devotion, or it won't work. On the other hand, how does one make the Aglipayan Church the dominant institution in the Philippines?

Wouldn't toning down on his devotion actually result in a slower growth rate? He pushed for expansion at every turn and spent his time building age organizations to cater to and hold on to new and old members alike.

Though, since you brought it up, would the Aglipayan Church's growth help in the Church of Christ's expansion by erroding the established foreign churches, or will it cause moretcompetition than it's worth?

I'm not sure, but the reputation of the INC will depend on how the actually conduct their lives. The Aglipayans on the other hand, would benefit from an early Philippine Independence with limited foreign help.

I was kinda wondering how things would pan out if a faith that votes solidly, but doesn't allow members themselves to run, would affect the country if they were majority.

On one hand, the group basically decides the composition of the houses and presidency. On the other hand, you'd have neighborhoods where you can't get officials in place because they're all INC and thus forbidden to run.

Why are INC members forbidden to run for the presidency or political office? They have a system where all INC members are required to vote for a single presidential candidate that forges an alliance with them.

Can't dedicate themselves to two lords (god and mortal government) at the same time. Appointed offices are fine, though, since that's basically just employment, not outright swearing supreme loyalty to the flag. They actually have a member who served as chief justice back then, Formes SJ Cuevas. That's about as high as someone can go in the government. Executive-wise, the President could decide to appoint an advisor.

The resulting 'alliance' is basically just politicians doing what politicians do best, sucking up to the big voters, nothing official on anyone's part. Lots of officials do the same thing with informal settlers.
