Chile wank

You heard correctly, how does one go about wanking the great nation of Chile! I (embarssingly) only just read about the war of the Pacific, and was deeply impressed that Chille managed to beat both Peru and Bolivia at once. Could Chile have taken more from the negoation table? I know they held plecibites on some of the captured areas, could those be avoided? Any other way to see Chile become more powerfull?

About the only thing i could think of for a Chile wank, would probably be a surviving Inca state that expands through South America, although the Inca Empire at it's OTL hight alone would consist of more OTL nations than just Chile, so it wouldn't be Chile-specific.

But that is probably not the answer you are looking for. :( Sorry.

Chile seizes the whole Patagonia before the Argentinian government decides to do it.
Not much of a wank though.

You're talking about giving Chile even more of an advantage than it already had?, these peope not only destroyed all the peruvian armies using superior machinary and better artillery, but also had the most modern ships to battle against the peruvian navy, which consisted of 2 out of date ships, and the strongest one was sunk during the first combat.

And what else can chile take, they took the Huascar in the Combate de Angamos, they occupied Lima, they imposed a heavy ransom in it of over 2 million soles each month they occupied it so that they wouldn't destroy the city, they sacked the central libraries, took waht they wanted and used the rest for kindling and for stabling their horses.

That doesn't count the rest of their actions during the Breña campaign.

Yes, I dont think in that war Chile can become any more powerful. However, there are plenty of ways to improve Chile otherwise. IIRC for all its martial prowess before the 20th century it was one of the poorest South American states (now its the richest, go figure). I know "wanking" is mostly defiend by territory, but it might have more of an effect to somehow improve Chile economically...
