Chechzlovzkia triggers WW2

German forces: 36 infantry divisions, the equivalent of 3 Panzer divisions (virtually all tanks are the PzKpfw I, armed with two 7.92 mm machine guns and minimal defensive armor, the 7.92mm was incapable of penetrating the Czech LT-35's armor even at point-blank range).

I agree with you rpost and I'd look at where those Pz Is were. I think at least a regiment was in Spain at the time.

Some fascinating stuff here!

Some details about Me-109s... B/C/D variants were powered by the Jumo 211 and not by the DB-605.
This reduce the gap with the MS-406 and Curtiss H-75 of the french, and probably with the Hurricane, too...

The Emil didn't come until mid-39 or so. Not only Luftwaffe has only 200
Bf-109, but they are from older variants.
Ok, the Morane was not a Mustang :D (ask the Swiss which used both types) but at least it was easy to handle, and production rates were rather high in 1938-1939 despite well-know problems in France at the time.
