Charles VI of France does not go insane and proves a cautious and effective ruler. He even manages to defeat Henry V at Agincourt. Henry is killed in the battle and the French are able to recover all of Gascony, including Bordeaux. Could this precipipate an earlier version of the Wars of the Roses, with the houses of York, Lancaster, and Beaufort vying for the English throne?
