Charles (to be) V dies

August, 1515, few days after First Congress of Vienna grandson of Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian I fell from a horse and dies. Now younger brother of Charles-Ferdinand become the only male heir of House of Habsburg and heir to Castillian and Aragonese crowns also. OTL Ferdinand started Austrian branch of Habsburg dynasty but ironically he was more Spanish than his brother, born and raised in Netherlands, who became forefather of Spanish branch. So in 1516 Ferdinand succeeded his maternal grandfather in Spain, 3 years later (maybe earlier or later due to butterflies but let's say 3) his paternal grandfather also dies. What happens? Will he take HRE throne like his brother in OTL? Fuggers supported Charles IOTL, and their money helped him to buy electors so I suppouse his brother should get their support also. And what about his future marriage to Anna Jagiellon and struggle for Hungarian throne?

Seems that starting new thread in the middle of night is not good idea, I'm sorry for bad English.
So I see no problem with Ferdinand taking Castillian and Aragonese crowns, he was born and raised in Spain and he spoken Spanish as his first language, he would fit there better than his brother. But what about HRE? Even if elected he will face more problems than Charles-IOTL Ferdinand helped him to rule his wast Empire, being his right hand in Germany, ATL his sisters will be more busy as governors.

Your premise statement is confusing unless one is really familiar with the situation (and maybe even then - you assume everyone knows who Max's grandson is). Try something along the lines of "HRE Joe-blow II" had two sons: Joey and Blowy; instead of Joey inheriting the HRE, what if in August of (some year) he fell into a well and broke his neck, leaving Blowy, who was raised......
