Charles II has surviving issue

Another thing I have been wondering is what if Charles II's issue of 1662, 1666, 1668 and 1669 had all survived with two being boys two being girls. If we go by this:

1662: Princess Henrietta

1666: Princes Charles

1668: Princess Anne

1669: James

What might this have changed in regards to dynastic politics of the 17th century england, and would this have allowed for a thing such as the glorious revolution to occur or not?

With Charles II having surviving issue, it is likely that all attempts are made to ensure they are raised as Protestants, mainly within Anglican church. Therefore perhaps lessening the chance of James II ever getting a look in to the throne. Perhaps making something like the Popish Plot and the exclusion bill less likely to happen

Well the moment one of them is born they become heir apparent and take James' place and considering how Anne and Mary were raised they would almost certainly be raised as Protestants. The big issue is if they would take after their Uncle and Grandfather be hard line defenders of the Royal Prerogative or if they would follow their much more easy going Father. If a.) then you could easily still see a alt Glorious Revolution or even 2nd Civil War. If b.) then probably not.

Hmm interesting, if they were more akin to their father, what would that entail? Would Parliament still grow as powerful as it later became?

Let's say Charles II's son Charles is born around 1662 instead of Henrietta, and grows up a protestant of the Anglican doctrine popular within the cavalier Parliament and the country as a whole. If he grows up with a fairly relaxed attitude of his father, due to his father taking more of a hand in raising his heir, could this lead to inner family conflict with James Duke of York and any issue he has?

And perhaps an actual popish plot?

Revised birthing order:

1662: Prince Charles Stuart: heir to the throne, Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and Earl of Chester

1666: Princess Henrietta

1668: Princess Anne

1669: Prince James: Duke of Clarence
