So this thread, is for a timeline/story idea I've got brewing in the works.

The rough outline is that Charles I marries Henrietta Maria of France as he did in otl, in 1625, the difference being that a son is born to them not in 1630, but in 1626, the son is named Charles, and is soon followed two years later by another son, named James, born in 1628, and so on and so forth. Consequently, with a bit of better luck and some more skill, Charles I wins the Civil war against Parliament around 1644, before the introduction of the New Model Army.

What I am wondering now is, say Charles wins the civil war quite convincingly in 1644, forcing Parliament to its knees. What happens in regards to the state of affairs between Parliament and the Crown, what happens re religion, and who might CHarles's sons marry?
