Chariot races popular Medival age +

In Justinan´s time, chariot races still had a cultural political value. What if not only in the East but also in the West of Medival Europe, Chariot races survive the Roman Empire and held regulary . They are enjoyed by the masses and tolerated by the Church . There are Chariot workshops and wooden chariot tournament arenas. In the Renaissance even the popes found their own chariot teams and invest into them.
 
Easy. People love games, bulls in Spain and Jousts everywhere are proof of that.
