Changes to the October Revolution of 1917

March 1923
Mussolini begins crackdowns and operations in southern Italy, as well as South-Central Greece in order to fully put down all rebel movements and completely annex Greece.
Ataturk's republic of Turkey begins to lose stability and enters a small civil war, as members of the government begin fighting, in both terms literally and in diplomacy, for more power in the destabilizing country. Lenin and many of the Bolsheviks receive word a of a possible collapse of power in Turkey, and they begin funding Socialist movements inside the country, how ever this task is much more difficult than before due to the British in the eastern parts of Turkey cracking down on Socialist movements. On top of that, the British are supplying states in the Caucasus, therefore blocking Soviet direct contact to Turkey, and revealing a British attempt to cut off Soviet influence in the middle east.

Food Rations in China begin to decrease as Sun Yat-sen and Chiang Kai Shek manage to gather the funds to sign contracts with many new skyrocketing free market enterprises which specialize in agriculture. Although government spending is at an all time high, as well as national debt, the country is beginning to undergo a green revolution, while at the same time funding and laying down the foundations for new potential factories across the country.
With the Chinese reclaiming more of their eastern coast each day, more and more businesses become Chinese influenced and begin to contribute heavily to growth of the brand new Chinese economy. Unfortunately, when Shek sends a top diplomat to Berlin in order to pressure the Weimar republic to leave China, they refuse almost immediately. Germany being one of the largest trading partners with the Chinese are both an ally to the RoC but also a thorn in their side when it comes to their nationalist agenda. Shek is pressured to write in new laws which nudge businesses even more in favor of developing their companies in the RoC instead of a colony. However the Germans, having to already deal with the aftermath of ww1, are not willing to give up their last colony in Asia.

The British are forced to roll back their borders in the British Raj by almost 20 miles, while the British may be suffering the loss of the northern Raj, the northern Raj begins falling into chaos and anarchy with many conflicting factions fighting for power. The new Southern Raj is heavily guarded and supplied by the British and fortifications are established in order to prepare for future attack from the new rebels.

The Great Game shifts incredibly in favor of the Soviets, as now Lenin meets with the 13th Congress in order to balance the Soviet budget so that the economy can continue to grow, while at the same time, scraping up funds for a possible Soviet-Afghan expansion, as well as starting a new Socialist faction in the northern Raj, in hopes of having the republic of China almost completely surrounded by Socialist nations.

The Japanese begin to set up a major DMZ along their current Primorsky border in hopes of maintaining stability in the region just long enough so that the Japanese military can become powerful enough for future plans of expansion. The Emperor mostly keeps to himself, but other than that, he visits with the US president, Warren G. Harding, in hopes of establishing better relations with the United States. Harding plans to allow his Vice President to enter the race for President, Calvin Coolidge, in hopes of having a continuation of Republican policies in the United States.
April 1923
The Italian army, now being led by a sweeping wave of confidence lead the siege of Albania as a reaction to their victories in Greece, they are met with little to no resistance whatsoever, in fact in many towns the Albanians welcome their new Italian leaders, Mussolini quickly sweeps Albania while making sure to take a victory lap with the state-run press in order to maximize morale and boost the confidence of the Italians.

By this point in time the British are finally pressured to condemn the Italians for their expansions in Europe, the League of Nations is called into session, however, by the end of the multiple meetings the Italians are left with nothing but mere warnings about expansion. With the French still recovering, the British trying to stabilize the Raj, as well as Transcaucasia, none of the world powers are willing to goto war to stop the reckless actions of another nation.

Shek and Yat-sen have begun funding many new espionage operations in order to collect information on possible Russian attacks in the future, they begin to uncover potential Soviet funding of Socialist movements in Afghanistan as well as the unorganized northern Raj. While Yat-sen is fearful and wishes to bring this information to the league of nations in order to stop the Soviets, Shek believes that the Chinese must imitate the actions of the Soviets and enter the Great Game in Asia. Shek calls together a commission, he hopes to establish nationalist movements in the northern Raj, French Indochina, as well as British controlled eastern Raj (Burma). With the colonial powers destabilized in Asia, Shek believes the Chinese could fully nationalize their lands and move onto their ultimate goal, which is to defeat the Japanese and retake much of their lost lands. Due to the fact that Shek's goal was to purely destabilize Asia, to him it did not matter how leaning left or right economically any of the movements were, so long as they obeyed Chinese policies. Radicals such as Nguyễn Ái Quốc whom openly supported Lenin, were now being funded in colonies such as Indochina in the hopes of at least a civil war breaking out which would allow the Chinese to be able to force the hand of a colonial power over matters in the east. Burma was targeted next, and then the Chinese establish multiple different groups in the Northern Raj, specifically in the Himalayan Region, as well as the Bangladesh Region. Under Shek, many Socialist Radicals in China would either have already been taken out by Shek, or now expelled down into French Indochina.

May 1923
The effects of War Communism being mixed with the New Economic Policy into a hybrid policy have allowed for many new advantages for the Soviets, in fact industrialization is beginning to pick up at an exponential rate across the Union. With the Japanese establishing a highly armed border behind the newly created demilitarized zone, Lenin and the Bolsheviks choose to develop fortifications in the area and halt any further wars in the east, more Soviet supplies and money are used to fuel possible future Soviet Influence in Afghanistan, the Northern Unorganized Raj, as well as the collapsing Republic of Turkey.

Seeing his success throughout his recent European campaigns, Mussolini decides that the plan for a Second Italian-Ethiopian war is unnecessary and a waste of resources. Due to this change in planning, the Italians gradually decrease military occupation in Italian Somaliland and Italian Eritrea, instead focusing more of their time, money, as well as troops and resources on Libya, Southern Europe, Asia Minor, and the homeland.

Shek and Yat-sen begin to gain an increasing amount of support from the people, as now the Chinese government records dozens of brand new factories springing up in each coastal city, as well as in towards the countryside, an enormous amount of crops flourish, finally leading the Chinese to have very low-restricting food rations. In the country, an overwhelming support for capitalism occurs as Socialist movements begin to lose their effect on the people, furthermore, the Chinese government begins to manipulate their newly regained trade port cities, thus beginning mass exportation of products and some services. The Chinese military as well as Chinese influence projects begin to receive much more funding than ever before. Shek continues to decrease stability in the Indochinese colony, anti-French propaganda is smuggled into Northern Indochina by the Chinese and given to the locals in order to continue radicalizing them to become anti-colonial.

In Afghanistan, roughly 30% of the population is now under increasing soviet influence, with Socialist movements beginning and increased Soviet militarization by the Afghan border, Afghanistan is rapidly falling under Soviet control.
In the Northern Raj, Chinese and Soviet funds have led to 4 major factions forming in the unorganized territory, A Socialist faction which roughly influences 20% of the population, backed by the Soviets, a Nationalist faction which influences roughly 30%, which is backed by the Chinese, a Pro-Islamic faction which influences almost 30%, and a Neutral/Anti-Colonial Faction which influences the remaining 20% or so.
In French Indochina, Chinese influence over the population in the Northern Regions has peaked at a new height of about 30%.
June 1923
Soviet troops begin to occupy large portions of northern Afghanistan, with the public support reaching around roughly 40%, the Soviets begin to call themselves the "Liberators of the Afghanistan", riots across Afghanistan, some Pro-Soviet, and some Anti-Soviet erupt, conflict is likely to ensue in the nation. On the other hand, the Soviets begin to militarize their border with Georgia and Azerbaijan, demanding a surrender from the Azerbaijani government and the Georgian Government.

The British and Italians condemn the Soviet Demands in the Caucasus. They are outraged and the British increase their occupation in Transcaucasia.

The Chinese and Soviets, both weary of the other 2 factions in the northern Raj, begin to associate religion with the factions which they back, The Chinese-backed Nationalist Faction associates themselves much more with Hinduism and Buddhism, whereas the Soviets are left to associate the Socialists with Islam, however this goes against both the Faction's beliefs, as well as the Soviet's beliefs, therefore they have a much more difficult time uniting the Islamic faction with the Socialist faction. As of now the Socialist faction now have an influence of roughly 35% of the Northern Raj, where as the Nationalists influence extends to just under 50%. Due to this, the Chinese are able to begin slight military occupation/aid in the northern Raj near the Chinese border. The Chinese look to destabilize British Burma next.

Fighting in the Northern Raj forces the British to pull back their troops and cede more land. The Bolsheviks become much more suspicious of the Chinese, believing they are backing the Nationalists in the Northern Raj, thus the Soviet Congress deemed it necessary to move troops to the Chinese border in order to scare the Chinese government. Shek and Yat-sen are not fools, they put two and two together and they immediately manage to conclude that the Socialists are being backed the Soviets, and due to the fact that there is a greater Nationalist movement in the Raj, the Soviets are trying to force the Chinese to move troops to their own border. Instead of moving troops, the Chinese openly call a meeting with the League of Nations, they state to the league that the Soviets have threatened them by increasing troops by their border, almost hours after the meeting, the British, French, Italian, German, Japanese, and even US government issue a warning to the Soviets and condemn their actions.

In short, tensions are high around the world.

July 1923
Northern Indochina begins to completely fall under Chinese influence, a civil war breaks out in French Indochina, the north is quickly overwhelmed by Chinese backed guerrilla warfare rebels. The rebels use unnoticeable supply lines through the jungle in the North, key cities such as Vietname and Hanoi are easily overwhelmed by rebels storming the cities at night, disguised as civilians. The French have no suspects as to who may be leading or backing this rebellion, however, French troops are very unlikely to survive in the region, as Northern Indochina is a potential battleground for traps and deceptions. After a couple of weeks of fighting, the French roll back their troops to southern Indochina, with those troops, the Northern rebels begin to move south. With the north cleared, the Chinese begin to increase their occupation in the North. At first the French make a plea to the League of Nations, declaring the rebels in Indochina as Communists, however an official statement from the now developing political party backed by the rebels openly states that the rebels are centrists, unbiased and unopposed to any economic system, including capitalism. The French are pushed back to the northern Laotian border.

With the rebellion in Indochina, the French increase their occupation of their other colonies. Meanwhile, in the Northern Raj, Capitalism becomes a prime example of successful economic systems, the Nationalist front use their platform to accept capitalism and reach out and gain another 5% or so of the population, the Nationalists influence almost 55% of the population, the Socialists, ~35%. Informal borders begin to form in the Raj, the west being primarily Socialist, near Afghanistan, the East, being Nationalist. The Nationalists reach out to the British in order to allow them to reclaim some land if they aid the Nationalists in a war against the Socialists. The British refuse, as the Southern Raj is becoming increasingly unstable, and a war would spread out British troops far too much, the British are forced to cede some more land.

In Afghanistan, the Soviets seize key cities, such as Kabul, unofficial fighting breaks out between the Soviets and the Afghans, a military conflict arises, however almost 60% of the population is in support of a Soviet-Socialist system, the government is at a heavy fault in this war.
August 1923
In Southern Indochina, the French are continuously pushed back, Saigon remains as the last major French Controlled City in the south, the Chinese government drastically spikes Occupation in the north, occupying almost half of Indochina. The Nationalist Raj front, being outraged at lack of British support begins aiding a rebellion in Burma, in order to politicize the rights of the Burmese Buddhists and Hindus in the region. The Chinese most definitely back this, After many talks, the Chinese, Northern Raj Nationalists, and the British agree to a deal, in which stating the Chinese and Nationalists pay reparations for their respective caused destruction in the Raj on British property, in return for the territory of Burma.

In the Western half of the Northern Raj, the Socialist front meets with the USSR in order to stabilize their control, The USSR proposes that the Socialists secede roughly half of their controlled lands from the Northern Raj an form a new Islamic-Socialist Revolutionary republic. The Territory of Pakistan is declared an independent state and secedes from the Northern Raj in the second week of August of 1923, the remaining Socialists in the Northern Raj attempt to develop a buffer zone between the Chinese & Raj Nationalists, as well as the new state of Pakistan. The Chinese government agrees to cede a small segment of occupied land to the Pakistani government in return for local resources as well as a small reparations fee.

The Soviets begin to rush to the south of Afghanistan, with almost 90% of the country under Soviet rule, the remaining Anti communists, as well as government leaders, are exiled to either the Southern Raj, or Iran. The Soviets continue their push against the remaining un-organized rebels in the southern regions of Afghanistan. Ultimately, Lenin decides the fastest way to defeat the Afghan rebels is to open a second front through Pakistan. Pakistan, led by Soviet troops, declares war on the afghan rebel government, they begin a large push from the south, finally allowing for the defeat of the Afghans on August 29th, 1923. In the treaty of Kabul, Afghanistan is forced to become a Soviet Socialist Republic, and is admitted into the USSR on August 31st 1923.

The Nationalist front nationalizes the two major French occupied cities in the East Raj, they become Chinese occupied, meanwhile the Chinese begin to economically aid the Nationalists.
September 1923
On September 4th, the Pakistani Government graciously accepts the Soviet Union's request of admitting the new Nation into the Union, the Soviet Socialist Republic of Pakistan is now formed and admitted into the USSR on September 5th. Some socialists are outraged and they move to the remaining Socialist Raj in the North West.

A referendum is held in the Chinese Government, Yat-sen single handedly develops the Republic of China into the URoC, the Unified Republics of China. After Shek and a few other congress men finish drafting a special border for the new Chinese controlled Burma, Yat-sen goes to Burma to allow the government the choice of joining the URoC. Due to the fact that Burma is under Chinese occupation, the government in reality has very little choice in the matter. Meanwhile in the south, the Rebels in Indochina secure almost two thirds of Cambodia, with the majority of French troops being pushed back to the Horn of Southern Vietnam. The Government of the Indochinese rebels begins to expel the Socialist radicals which the Chinese flushed into the country in order to act as a catalyst for civil war, they are exiled to Dutch Indonesia, as well as Thailand, and even British Malaysia. The new Indochinese government has three autonomous regions, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia, held together in a union, the autonomous regions of Indochina are quickly occupied by Chinese troops, Shek an Yat-sen meet with the Indochinese leaders in order to pitch the idea of having their country join the URoC, stating that much like Burma and Tibet, and even Mongolia, a great deal of autonomy is kept for those member states which choose to join the Union, and their sovereignty is guaranteed this way. After weeks of discussion the Indochinese accept, however there are still french rebels to the south of the country, the Chinese now officially have the responsibility of kicking the french troops out of one of their member states, by the end of the month, Indochina is fully Chinese.

After months of pressure on the Azerbaijani government, the People's Republic of Azerbaijan is formed due to the fact that the Socialists are able to pitch both Islam as well as Atheism in the region. Furthermore, the people of Azerbaijan had become incredibly restless with the fact that there was constant British military operations in the area, as well as extreme occupation of the region. The Soviets decide to use Azerbaijan as a buffer, and leave them outside of the USSR. The People's Republic of Turkey becomes increasingly likely to be founded as the socialist factions begin to unite under USSR influence and overwhelm the other factions forming the majority of the people in the Country. In Turkey, the USSR is able to take both Socialism, and Nationalism and form a National Socialist Front. This comes as the National Socialist front in Turkey would be a good way to prevent Italian, French or British intervention, as the country could now identify itself as a Fascist state. Turkey finally falls into the Soviet sphere of influence.

British troops are forced to seek refuge in East Turkey (British occupied area), and Northern Iran, Iran asks for aid from the British in order to stomp out any possible future Communist uprisings across the country.
Both the Soviets and the Chinese enjoy their newfound Indian Ocean sea access.

The Nationalist Front, in some cases more violently, begins to expand into regions of the Northern Raj which are still uninfluenced and unorganized, the Socialists also begin to move in on the remaining 10% of the population, towards the southern part of the Socialist-Nationalist border of India the remaining unorganized territory is split down the middle along the 76 Degree East Longitude. The Nationalists now influence around 62.5% of the population, with the Socialists controlling the other 37.5%.
Now with the Chinese modernizing at a rapidly increasing rate, while also holding a majority of the world's population in their sphere of influence, new militarization campaigns are allowed for the government, the Chinese are preparing for a Pacific war.
Also in addition, the Chinese have expanded in the South China Sea, claiming the remaining uncolonized islands.
