Chancellors for Frederick III?

This is a simple question. Who would Frederick III be likely to select to his chancellor following the death or retirement of Otto von Bismarck? Assume Frederick is healthy and his reign isn't going to be cut down by cancer early like OTL. I know Frederick is liberal in political view but I don't know a good chancellor/s to pair with him for his reign. I figure someone here might have a good idea who might end up serving in this position, so ideas?

From memory in the late 1880s he was impressed with Rudolf von Bennigsen from the "Nationalliberale Partei". There was another member of the party he thought of very positivly, I believe it was Johannes von Miquel. But Bennigsen in particular left a fine impression on him.

Although Franz August Schenk von Stauffenberg of the "Deutschen Freisinnigen Partei" was at least close to Friedrich's wife and met with Friedrich himself, so under circumstances he might be a contender too, but I think that would depend on how much Friedrich listens to Victoria and of course how well the Freisinnigen are performing in the elections.

Bismarck was also concerned that Friedrich might turn to his close friend Albrecht von Stosch for chancellor, but Stosch was only three years younger than Bismarck.

If he wants to go the Wilhelm II road and appoint a general (not impossible, father and son shared quite a bit more than is commonly believed) who's younger than Stosch he might ask his friend Julius von Verdy du Vernois (OTL minister of war under Wilhelm II from 1889-1890), but I doubt Verdy would go along with it since he has probably retiered and is writting his books by than.

Even if he doesn't catch cancer, I wouldn't bet on a too long reign. Friedrich didn't have his fathers health and was having trouble with illness's before cancer showed up. He also had a rather depressive attitude in his later years and at least once considered stepping aside for Wilhelm in the mid 1880s, if I remember correctly.
