Despite candidate Bill Clinton labelling himself "the Comeback Kid" in February 1992, former Governor of California Jerry Brown seemed on the verge of besting Clinton at the nomination. He was the "grass-roots" candidate before a certain Ross Perot even officially entered the race; however, he made a rather stupid gaffe regarding Jesse Jackson that cost him the remaining primaries, and, eventually, the nomination.

The challenge is to have Jerry Brown become the Democratic nominee for the 1992 presidential election; also, what repercussions would come of that? Who would he choose as running mate, and how would he react to Bush and Perot? That's all down to you; you can make it as complex or simple as you want; trace the after-effects up to a point long after, or even just make a simple prediction... anything you want. :)

...so, get at it! :D
