Challenge: The US demands territorry for WWI and or WWII

The challenge is for the United States to demand territorry, from either the Allies, Entente, Axis, or Central Powers, as a condition of entering the World Wars. Meaning that the United States will only agree to enter the war on one side in exchange for territorry.

WWII: Some time in 1940, Hitler, deciding for some reason that the "governing class" of America counts as Aryan, invites the United States to enter the war on his side. President Roosevelt makes his response that evening in a fireside chat: America will be friends with Hitler only if Hitler surrenders all territory he occupies and lets the United States dispose of it however it will.
:D

You would need a different President in either case. WWI seems the easier of the two if Anglo-American tensions continued onward from the War of 1812. The USA would want Britain's Carribbean colonies (I'll include Guyana with it).

Yeah, if we have a President who isn't as Anglophile as Wilson or FDR they could have held any territories in the Western Hemisphere for ransom.

Now that I think about it, the "destroyers for bases" deal might verge on this.
