Challenge: The Gilded Thirties - World w/o the Great Depression

I would like to see a timeline where the Great Depression was a short lived recession and examines how the world evolve without the disastrous cycle of economic failure, crazy ideological extremes, and horrific wars that instead plagued our timeline.

I could see the world descending into another great war at a later date. But it's also possible that the atomic age would precede it and it's deterrance value would produce a fearful, but ultimately peaceful era that characterized the OTL Cold War. The age of Mutually Assured Destruction was in many ways the most peaceful era of human civilization. Major wars between great powers came to an end. Might WWI have been the war to end all wars after all? At least in terms of the end of big wars. Did the world have to have an encore before the atomic age? Perhaps the lessons learned from WWI and nuclear weapons would be enough to bring about a world similar to OTL but without WWII.
