Challenge: Orleanist France

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to have the 2nd French Republic succeeded by a monarchy under the House of Orleans that would last until the present day with a POD after the election of Louis-Napoleon as president.

Wait, is this a question of direct succession? That is do we have to prevent the Second Empire from arising? If not, the answer is very simple. Henri Comte de Chambord dies before 1873. For the most part, under such circumstances royalist hopes center around Phillipe d'Orleans Comte de Paris. The royalist leaning national assembly selects Phillipe as King Phillipe VII. From there it's just a question of maintaining the monarchy from 1873-present.
