Up to a point. When she shows up drunk at the MTV awards and just looks stupid you dont want to be seen buying her records. Unlike the pistols, Hole sold to an adult audience that didn't really identify with her behaviour.

Amy Winehouse still sold records! Bad press is still press. Although, this TL could show a more sober Courtney.
