Challenge: Anti-Versailles

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to have Germany recover its pre-WWI eastern border (but not more - no Sudetenland, no Alsace-Lorraine, no Ukraine) by the present day with a POD no earlier than 1927. Bonus points if you can bring back the monarchy.

Alsace- Lorraine was a part of Germany before WW1. With other territory do you mean; territory lost to Poland, Eupen- Malmedy, Memel and North Sleswig? Or do you also mean former German colonies?

I mean just the eastern territories, I thought I made that clear: the Polish Corridor, Posen, Polish Upper Silesia (given to Poland), Danzig (a free city), Memel (given to Lithuania), and Hlucin (given to Czechoslovakia).

A restoration of the Hohenzollern monarchy in the 1930s could well lead to this - they would not want to focus on such as Alsace-Lorraine, probably couldn't give a monkey's over Eupen-Malmedy, might save Upper Schleswig as a snack for later, and wouldn't want any ex-Habsburg territory.

What they WOULD be focused on is ex-Prussian territory, ie reuniting East Prussia with Germany proper. And Silesia was Frederick The Great's great achievement, so would have a historical-emotional impact

If a Russo-German alliance occurs, then a restored Hohenzollern monarchy (as opposed to the Nazis, not changing anything else much) could well focus entirely on Poland
