Challenge: An Alternate Monarchy World !!

Your challenge, should you accept it, is to make a world not unlike the Tony Jones' Monarchy World in the basic concept. However, instead of being dominated by the British, Russians and Chinese, the triumvirate must be replaced by three nations, that each of them is IOTL typically be considered as "of the other pole" from the British, Russians and Chinese respectively. I.E. the French for the British etc. The PoD must be no earlier than 1500.

Well, the "other pole" for Russia-China-England could easily be Germany-Japan-France. As for the TL, no idea ! :p

Here goes:

POD is the War of Spanish succession. French armies are more successful (better commanders, eugene and Marlborough get killed, something like this). Then, as the war is winding down, Louis, duc de bourgogne dies in some accident, leaving Philip V of Spain as the next heir to the french throne. the alliance doesnt like this state of affairs, but the war hasnt been going well and exhaustion sets in. In exchange for territorial concessions, they allow Phillip to reign the united kingdom.

The following century is marked by a series of wars for hegemony; and the rise of france-spain at the expense of the british and austrians. However, this leads to a power vacumn in central and eastern europe. Russia starts to step in to fill the gap, but somehow angers france. France-spain then starts supporting the Poles as a buffer state. Somehow, the poles reorganize and break the power of the tsars, and become dominant in eastern europe.

As for china, dynastic crisis in the 18th or 19th centuries coupled with a taiping type rebellion shatters the empire into feuding states. Japan decides to step in, and manages to conquer Korea. However, this leads to further expansion on the mainland. While they never come close to conquering China as a whole, they do make signifcant gains over the centuries and the continuing balkanization allows them to consolidate their position on the mainland.

A very rough timeline, and could use development, but there you go.

Hmm... Poland-wank is interesting  It is true that instead of just mentioning "Franco-Ottomano-Mughal Triumvirate World" I went with the OP, because different people just has different perception. But if I don't demand satisfaction for my interest now I'm afraid nobody will ever even guess....:(;)

America, Germany, and Korea.

In the United States Benedict Arnold does not betray the Revolution and instead gets proclaimed the Emperor of the United States of America. It is a constitutional monarchy and expands its domains much like OTL. Later in alliance with Germany it dismembers the British Empire.

In Germany, it is united in 1848 when Wilhelm IV accepts the offer to be Emperor. It becomes allied with the United States and defeat Britain, France, and Russia and dominates Europe.

In Korea, it modernizes instead of Japan. Korea extends into Manchuria, and takes most of China and Asia in bloody wars. It allies with America and Germany.

In 2009 the world is peacefully under the management of the three great empires of the Untied States of America, Germany, and Korea.

Korea-wankery has been always a good news :) Unfortunately, Korea isn't exactly "of the other pole" with Chinese typically....

"Of the other pole"-relationships :
- Britain vs France
- Russia vs Ottoman Empire
- China vs Japan
- China vs India
- Denmark vs Sweden
- Turkey vs Greece
- etc etc with similar vibe with the aboves
