Challenge: All Jews for Jesus

A misconception I had when I was (very!) young was that modern Jews were traditionally Christians. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to make this true by the present day with a POD between (the OTL dates of) the beginning of Domitian's reign and the First Council of Nicaea.

Jesus

I don't quite understand this. It is not generally accepted that Jesus was an historical person. I'm assuming you mean that all Jews converted?

Assuming that the Biblical history of the Gospels are correct, it is impossible for ALL of the Jews to convert. Think about it. The Pharisees, Sadducees, and the like HATED Jesus and not one of their members would convert, with the exception of Nicodemus. Many Jews just didn't and couldn't believe Jesus was the Messiah.

You might convert the majority. You'll need either more Jews/Greeks to convert at Pentecost/Eastern Roman Empire or Paul to NOT denounce mandatory circumcision. You get a more Jewish Christianity at the cost of traditional Christianity.

What do you mean by modern Jews? Do not mix nationality with believe. Jews were in diaspora even before time of Jesus.

Uhh, I'm not sure I understand. To make all "modern Jews" "traditional Christians", you would have eliminated Judaism as a separate faith. I also suspect that the many if not most cultural traditions associated with orthodox Jews worldwide in OTL (dietary restrictions, circumcision, etc) would be also reduced or eliminated - or at least not associated with "jews" as a separate faith or ethnicity.

It is also interesting to speculate how Chistianity would have developed in a world where it would no longer have to explain away why the very people chosen by God continued to reject its Messiah.

Assuming some traditional non-trinitarian Jewish believers still exist when Islam develops (assuming Islam develops), it may attract many more of these folks
