Central powers victory in WW1, Bulgarian gains?

I am curious, in the event of Central powers victory in WW1, what does Bulgaria get as a reward, and can it keep hold of what it gains? Would it mean more economic prosperity for Bulgaria or leave it an internation pariah?

When exactly the war ends can be whatever time it would be most profitable for Bulgaria:D

I would assume Macedonia from Serbia and maybe Greece and Dobruja (both north and south) from Romania.

As for economic prosperity, probably not enough to make a difference, those regions arnt particularly wealthy and the primary benefit will be increased population base. The Depression will still screw everyone over, but if they stay neutral in ww2 they economy will probably end up doing better in the long run.

As for whether they can control the territories, i think they can. Just kick out all the Romanians from Dobruja.

Well with a CP win they could certanly take macedonia from the serbs but i doubt parts of greece as they remained neutral during the war.As for economie sure if they play there cards right plus it would help if ww1 ended a bit early and ofcourse if they dont get to blooded during the war and if at possible remain neutral during ww2 things could go well. Though i do think there relations with the soviets will be intresting.

They would definitely take Macedonia, and probably some small slivers of Romanian territory. I doubt they would get anything from Greece, as Greece would probably remain neutral in this scenario.

As well as Serbian Macedonia, there could be some minor territorial gains around Nis. Dobruja should be a given. If Greece is also defeated, Western Thrace and Greek Macedonia, complete with Salonika, are Bulgar.

Dobruja shouldn't be too hard to hold, but there could be more problems in Macedonia and Thrace...

I always wondered what the CPs' strategy on carving up Romania in general would be. I shouldn't imagine Austria-Hungary would want too many more troublesome ethnic Romanians...

Especially not the Magyars, which if Romania is added to the empire would be outnumbered by Romanians. If anything could force through a "United Kingdoms of the Danube" this would be the kind of imbalance... Or a Hungarian revolution (although given 1848, the Magyars would probably piss away all support in the rest of the country and promptly bring everyone else back in the imperial fold)

OTL they signed a peace treaty with Romania in early 1918. A-H got some very modest territorial gains along the Carpathians -- basically, a few thousand square km to secure the two most strategic passes. But otherwise, nope, they didn't claim any Romanian territory.

They did stick Romania with a whopping indemnity, to be secured in part by occupation of the oil wells.

In WWII Bulgaria briefly occupied part of Kosovo, for the year or so from the Italian surrender to the Axis retreat from the Balkans. Don't know if they tried that in WWI, or advanced a claim.

Why not split Romania into Moldavia and Wallachia again? :p

Because Romanians would make a bloody mess about it.
CP probably would be happy to take some place on the border and leave the country as a vassal state. Maybe with some place taken from Russia more, just to keep the Romanian discontent low at a cheap price.
