Celtic Steppe nomad empire

What if Celtic peoples migrated far into Central Asia and began breeding horses ? What if they are still distinct cultural Celtic but master horse warfare and horse archery ? The horse is central to these Celts and they also have Camels.

No. Not possible with Celts. Why would they leave the excellent Mediterranean and European climate for some cold regions? They would as well build empires there itself. Anatolians,Celts,Italics and Greeks have absolutely no reason to go to Steppes unless they invented futuristic technologies and settled down there using them. That's as simple as that. Tocharians and not all but some Indo-Iranian peoples are the only Indo-European peoples you get who could have ventured into the Steppes like that. Others could simply build up empires wherever they were. Some East Germanic peoples could have done so. The West Germanic peoples again would be content with Germany,Netherlands,Switzerland,Austria,France and Belgium with far better climate compared to Steppes. Finno-Ugric peoples and Indo-Iranian or Tocharian peoples or Slavic peoples or at the stretch,East Germanic peoples who are also very unlikely.

Celts,Germanic,Italic and Balto-Slavs had plenty of wet and fertile lands for them inside Europe. Especially Celts and Italic peoples. No reason for them to move into the Steppes to establish a Nomadic empire there. Not attractive returns. If they do establish a strong empire and want to farm, build and irrigate the Steppe, they would do so. But that isn't easy as steppe is always bombarded by new invasions. Only an industrialized civilization could migrate and establish an empire successfully there or at least a sufficiently advanced empire could. Nomadic,Celts could do that in the future anyway. Irish,Welsh,Manx and Scottish settlers on a new planet with Steppes with moving cities could do the challenge.
