Cattette's Great Repository of Maps Im Mildly Content Over

On the 22nd of March 2019 Cattette was thrilled over her great success in the grand strategy game of Europa Universalis IV. Starting as the declining superpower formed by the mighty Timur himself, she managed to transition this once great Empire into a great power once again. Eventually forming the Mughal Empire and dominating everything stretching from the Caspian sea to Southern China.

I had long been a great fan of maps, cartography and everything related and in between. Long being a history and geography fan has led me to nearly exhaust the resources of history. It is no wonder then that I eventually found the notion of an infinite poll of both history and geography extremely alluring. For isn't that exactly what Alternate History is to its core?

On the 22nd of March 2019, I decided it was my turn to make my first impression on the scene of althistory. With my completed EU4 game I had everything I needed: a finished subject of the map, a point of divergence and a fun scenario. Now all I needed was a map. Using the games built in map printing feature and 15 minutes in Photoshop I managed to make this curiosity. It was simple, it was plain but it was the opening shot to my newest digital hobby.

Taking place in the same universe, this map, was by far better work than my previous. A colour scheme with similar hues to many of the colours allowed for a viewing much gentler to the eyes but I had still to defeat my worst temptation; curved text.

Perhaps the earliest map im still proud over is this map of a large Brazil:

The borders being rather arbitrary never really struck my mind. I've always been more interested in the aesthetics of maps rather than the accuracy. Receiving over 10 times the updoots than my first map I still to this day (a month later) think this is the largest leap of my ability.

After this short introduction, I would like to declare that I will be using this thread as the main repository of (some of) my past and future maps. I welcome everyone to critique my maps however as they please, aesthetically or the feasibility of the scenario, critique it all.
