so reading about Akbar the Great, I never knew about his views on religion, which were very interesting. one thing I thought was interesting was that three of his grandsons were baptized as Catholics...
and he also founded his own religion, the Din-i-Ilahi.... but it never got off the ground.
what if Akbar had been either more supportive of Roman Catholicism, having more of his family or powerful aristocrats baptized or converted, what effects would that have?
or, what if Akbar had been more aggressive in promoting Din-i-Ilahi, and forced as many Mughal aristos as possible to convert? what would happen then?
