I imagine this might have been asked before, but I cannot quite find the threads for it on the search function.
Henry VIII and Catherine of Aragon, had six children together, only two of whom were ever truly named.
Now, what I'm curious about is this, in 1518, Catherine gave birth to a daughter who was weak and sickly, and who then died a few days later. What would've happened, if that child was born a son, and was born robust and healthy and managed to live longer than a few days?
How might this influence the relationship between Henry and Catherine, does this remove Henry's own great matter? And most of all, with a son and a daughter, does Henry feel more satisfied with himself?
