I've seen some of the cast threads, and I wasn't sure if this has been done before. Who could play the major figures in the Cold War? Harry S Truman's up first.

LBJ should be obvious: Michael Gambon. Likewise, Robert S. MacNamara would be done by Alec Baldwin. It worked before, and it'll work again.

I always thought Bob Hoskins would be the best Khrushchev. When I saw that they actually cast him as Mr. K in Enemy at the Gates, I felt a nice twinge of satisfaction.
