Carthage

What would happen if Carthage won the first Punic war or something, and completely defeated Rome? How would that all play out into modern times?

Instead of conquering Europe, I think the Carthaginians would trade with other people, and perhaps trigger the formation of nations out of the scattered tribes of Gaul.

Just one other thing: What is the historical accuracy of the symbol for Carthage in Rome: Total War?

While I'm a Carthaginian enthusiast, you should look through the forums (there are some excellent time-lines), or find a particularly interesting POD, or some austere little twist to interest peeps in this regard. This subject has literally been beaten to death here.

Not trying to dog you out, its just been done more than a bit.

Welcome to the forum:)
