A little known fact (at least to me, in any case) is that Karoline of Baden-Durlach, OTL's first Queen of Bavaria and stepmother to Auguste of Bavaria, Madame de Beauharnais, was originally betrothed to the murdered duc d'Enghien. However, her parents broke the engagement off once it became clear that the Revolutionary government was not just a flash in the pan. Enghien's murder resulted in her dislike of France. However, if one considers her OTL fertility it seems likely to me that Bourbon-Condé could've staged as big a revival as the house of Orléans.
What might be the result if she marries Enghien instead of his de Rohan wife? She already had a sister who was Russian empress, another who was queen of Sweden, plus her twin sister was considered as a potential bride for Emperor Franz II, the duke of Clarence and the Crown Prince of Prussia. And is it possible that of Enghien is unavailable, she might be considered for Berri?
