Capital of West Austria

What would the capital of West Austria be if the Soviets never left the east, and instead set up a communist East Austria.

Would be the cities of Salzburg, Innsbruck or maybe they would do the same thing as Adenauer did, and pick a smaller city so that reunification would remain in the minds of the citizens.

Graz, Linz, Salzburg, or Innsbruck. I'd personally like to see Graz, but they'd probably go for Salzburg due to its central position; quite ironic when you consider that Salzburg state was the youngest one in Austria, the former crownland having been acquired by the Habsburgs many centuries after all the others.

Very likely Innsbruck. Hey, it already was a residence for minor Habsburg cadet lines, and it will be something like that again ;) Besides, Sallzburg, Linz and Graz could be somewhat too near the border, and Linz and Graz dont really have the ifnrastructure, either...

Then again, neither did Bonn, but still it was chosen as the new capital over Frankfurt. Are there any less important cities in relatively safe distance from the boarder to be candidates? Like Bregenz or Klagenfurt?
