Fortress Louisbourg, NS
Halifax Citadel, NS
Quebec Citadel, QC
Fort Henry, ON
Fort George, ON (yes, those are wooden walls, but this fort is two generations earlier than the stone fortifications above).
Fort Rodd Hill, BC
And though more a trading post than a fortress, I have include my favourite and one of North America's most northern forts, Prince of Wales Fort in Manitoba. PoW is on my bucket list of things to see, being a one stopover, 5 day train ride from Toronto.
