My first proper Time line this is just a teaser things get interesting in the 19th Century. Criticism appreciated. Map to come soon.

I hope you'll be explaining why loyalists would flee from Patriot controlled territory to another colder, less familiar or hospitable Patriot controlled territory inhabitated by the hated French Papists, and do so long before the war is even lost and with it the loyalists' existing homes. Or why said loyalists would have any affinity with Franco-Canadians, much less sufficient affinity for a joint war effort. Or that said joint effort would create some sort of Canadian nationalism despite Canada now being part of the U.S., decades before such nationalism formed OTL despite far better conditions for it.

Explanations at hand. The Loyalists felt that fleeing into a remote territory even if owned by the USA would increase the likelihood of survival. I will elaborate that their relationship is the the enemy of my enemy is my friend type. There will be a backstabbing int the future. Canadian nationalism will be more French-based then it is OTL but it will be separate then it is now. BTW I could really use a map of this era.
