Can France & Spain be joined post-Napoleon?

Pretty much the title of this thread.

Thought it would be funny if after centuries of the Brits working to stop France from being the pre-eminent superpower that they'd be ok with a unified France&Spain as a counterweight to, say, a unified Germany (perhaps OTL's, perhaps the even bigger Austria including model).

Of course the Spanish might object, so… have fun!

No. Too many differences.

In the Iberian Peninsula the Catalans have been exposed more to French culture but even they would rather go it by themselves then be tied to France. Many Catalans would also vote to break away from Spain.

Highly implausible to the point of almost certain failure. An opening does exist if one manipulates the Congress of Verona (no spelling error) sufficiently and somehow allows the French extension of significant influence over Spain, but it is somewhat unlikely due to the opposition of all British governments to such a scheme. Something in the aftermath of the end of Isabella II's reign is also vaguely possible but again highly unlikely.
