Byzantine-Sassanid alliance to defeat Islam?

If that's the only thing you're changing, it don't matter.

For all practical purposes, as soon as the Arab armies start scoring victories, it's too late to restore the status quo. Honestly after Muhammad one might say it's too late. Both are exhausted and have weak or tired leadership.

If you just want to get rid of Islam, there's also far easier ways.

Not impossible but very unlikely. The "Romans" and the various Persian empires had been fighting eachother for many centuries by then. Also they might have been able to push back the Muslims into Arabia but actually destroying the religion itself would have required conquering all of Arabia. And that is just impossible for non-Arabs.

I don't think they could destoy the religion easily . But perhaps they can locked them in Arabia. May be destroy Mecca and Medina too, but occupy the land would be useless for both empires.

Interesting, I never knew about the battle. Sounds pretty epic with a sort of "Last Alliance of Persians and Byzantines" vibe.

It was pretty big over 100,000 men if you believe the sources. Your post was still accurate overall though it wasn't much of an alliance between the two.
