Never do today what you can do tomorrow. Something may occur to make you regret your premature action.
- Aaron Burr

"Wasn't it Burr who started all of this?" He said with a huff.
"Burr? You don't mean-"
"You know who the fuck I mean Greg." The soldier snapped as they continued walking the empty street.
"I don't know! I don't think he would've thought about this war."

From something that was supposed to be a one time joke, I'd like to introduce "Burr's Wild Ride".
A new Timeline that isn't super grounded in reality, I'm one for some more whimsical or just silly ideas that aren't really seen taken into a semi-real setting! So I hope you enjoy!

Looks fun alright. Be interested to see what the layout of each nation is and the run down of the political parties was good as well. Belgian Texas as well. That'll be fun to see what comes from that.

So, a diplomatic shift in the Americas, a deadly terrorist attack in New Orleans and Linkara is standing for election. Yep, I'm liking this TL already. Good work on the graphics standing out as well.

Re: Important Statement
Dear David,
This is the third egram you've sent, if you are confused about the history report I have made it clear that the website and book have all the answers. If you can't be bothered to simply read then I suggest leaving my class.

Sincerely,
Ms. Crowley - History Teacher

History of the World: The ITL
ITLWiki.png

"-then there is the issue of what happened in Brazil, while the post war proceedings in Europe did constitute in peacekeeping operations in the defunct nations of Russia and France, Brazil was isolated in all of this. It was in a civil war while the GGW was still going on and had no relations to Imperialist Russia and the Dictators of France... this was a national issue that only the Brazilians where dealing with until 1945! No warning, no "this is happening" just one day British, New English, and Chinese ships and troops started to flood in, and for what? The war was already ending at that point and this was salt rubbed into the wounds. You have people complaining why Brazil hasn't even considered joining the ITL, they forget what happened then."
- quote from Brazilian President Anita Novinsky when asked on her opinions regarding Brazil denying entry to ITL troops during the 'Crisis of the Caribbean' in 1977

So, what's New England's actual status in regards to the UK? It's a Republic, so not really linked that way. Really close allies, I take it? And the graphics are really nicely done. The latest one with the differing flags to show what the US has been broken down into helps a fair bit. Going by the earlier overview of the ITL, I take it that major power is that organisation, with hostiles in the form of Russia and Japan, while Brazil is more of an aggressively neutral faction?

New England and the UK are pretty close allies, it's a lot like how the US and UK are pretty close military allies otl. They aren't apart of the UK or the British Empire as a whole since I don't see many things where New England is just its own thing?

Also thank you! I wanted a certain style for this timeline, and I'm gunna be changing things as time goes on.

Russia is very much aggressive, though more diplomatically than say... Japan. The next update has talks about Russia a bit more so stay toned, but Brazil is a very Neutral nation and I'll talk about them more overtime.
