BUF / Oswald Mosley gets power in Britain

I don't know what threads have already discussed this topic. I raise it here because when looking for something on the internet I found this thread:-

in a wargaming forum, which had spread to a text story. POD: 1937 in England. ATL: BUF and Oswald Mosley becomes the government, and resistance leads to civil war.

A wargamer who calls himself Grumpyviking wrote this story in the scenario, which includes a small-scale battle at Heathrow, which was countryside then:-

For what Heathrow was like before 1944 when it was still farm and market garden land, see

and this map:-

Hayes Aerodrome is Harmondsworth Aerodrome is Heathrow Aerodrome.

"Lord Richardson of Sipson" looks like a random guess at the area's country squire. OTL, and likely thus ATL, Heathrow and around had had no noble owner since in the late 19th century when its owner (Earl Strafford) died soon after death duty came in in Britain, and his successor died within 14 months after: having to pay 2 death duties in 14 months forced his family to sell much land. As a local leader, William Wild of Sipson Farm in the north end of Sipson would be as good a candidate as any, or try one of the larger Heathrow farmers.

As regards the barricade at Heathrow Hall farm, that seems a good place to discourage outflanking: the barricade would be protected against outflanking on the west by the farm buildings of Heathrow Hall, and on the east by a large pond and marsh area opposite on the east side of Heathrow Road; and the sharp band in Heathrow Road there would make it difficult to see what is ahead, depending on how high the hedges were and whether the trees and hedges were in leaf.
