I think they would have done the show in Fargo-Moorhead and finish the tour. Still, the three of them had big plans ahead of them and many years too. Buddy planned to work with a young guy named Waylon Jennings. The Bopper planned to be a songwriter in Nashville and Ritchie could have pioneered Latin rock in a big way. Also, Buddy's own music would grow more sophisticated over time. Perhaps he even brings the Beatles to America!
