In 1660, Brunei at this point still has Palawan..
Philippines has been attacked by Koxinga and many revolts happen in Luzon, Mindoro and Kalamian had slipped to Bruneian hands.
Bruneian Soldiers and their ally Moro pirates march into Batangas and Cavite from Mindoro and Palawan defeating the weakened spanish troops in Luzon, which were weakened by Koxinga and the revolutionaries..
Now that Brunei had owned all of Luzon..Brunei grants an asylum to Koxinga, although temporarily ..
In 1680, Visayas stays in Spanish hands for now and Taiwan is still under the remnants of the Kingdom of Tungning, Brunei conquers a part of Taiwan and the Batanes islands and Brunei has a agreement with Qing to partition Taiwan..
Brunei starts to resume sending muslim missionaries in Luzon..
Many of the chinese in Taiwan were encouraged to move to Borneo in 1700..

Does Brunei have the naval capacity to resist the imminent Spanish fury? I suppose if they've co-opted Koxinga that would help, but you might need to address that.
Though a resurgent Brunei in the 17th century is certainly original. If it could put together a navy to go head-to-head against European ships, it may soon come into some collisions with the Dutch in Ternate and other regions.
That is because Brunei has already had the work done by Koxinga and his allies and the Spanish were already weakened but I think Brunei will most likely ally with Qing later on..I will continue this TL later on..
