British version of Francafrique

Anyway you could get a British version of Francafrique

Would be possible for this British version to include non-African countries

Would the Indian-Subcontinent be possible

What would be the impact on Britain and it's former colonies

It's called the Commonwealth and it spans the globe.
As Analytical Engine wrote Francafrique and the Commonwealth are wildly different, whilst I'm not claiming that Britain has been completely blameless in dealing with its former African colonies since decolonisation its been nowhere near as cynical.

The Commonwealth isn't as locked into the British economy to the extent that the former French colonies in Africa are to France, though.
What’s the difference? Here in Canada we’re in both. I don’t see any trade with France other than wine and Michelin tires, but I’m sure there’s more.

Is the Canadian dollar pegged to the Pound Sterling?
Is the Canadian dollar required to keep a significant fraction of its currency reserves with the Bank of England?
Has the UK intervened militarily in Canada multiple times since its independence?
Does the UK have exclusive rights to access certain Canadian natural resources?

Canada's economy is far more closely bound to the US economy than to the UK's.

This thread is about a British version of the Francophonie, and above the Commonwealth was suggested and rejected as its British equivalent. Canada belongs to both, so I’m asking how they differ. Neither appear to be trade pacts, for example.

I'm talking about this

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Françafrique

Canada belongs to both,
Are you talking about this organization because this is the French equivalent to the Commonwealth of Nations
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organisation_internationale_de_la_Francophonie

Francafrique is not an organization but rather a term for France's neocolonial relationship with it's former colonies

Hmmm, what if the United Kingdom is able to maintain infleunce in the middle east? Places like the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain could be completely reliant on the UK for military support to protect their regimes. Perhaps no Suez Canal Crisis? And the UK can continue to play a major role in the middle east. Hmm if South Africa wants to annex Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana perhaps they remain under the UK's protection as High Commision terrotories?
The UK could overthrow a rebelious Rhodesian government as well and maintian substantial infleunce over Southern Africa.
The UK could also maintain a huge amount of infleunce in the Caribean if it really wanted to.
