It be more amusing in Welsh I would thinkI always laugh imagining an English SS making extremely literal translations of its German counterpart's ranks, i.e. "That is an excellent appraisal of the situation, Headstormleader!"

Hahaha, classic, love it!
What would the 'real' British equivalents be? Would the British SS use British army ranks? Or would there be an Anglo-Saxon, 'traditional' bent to the titles? Karl? Thegn? Reeve?
Perhaps there might be some Old English inspired names, make it sound more German
SS Huscarl?
