It's early 20th century and most of the Indian subcontinent is ruled by the British. In this timeline, the British Empire decides that they would reach a treaty with native Indians. Instead of treating Indians as a colonized people, they would be uplifted from most of their problems. This comes with a price however: The Indian leaders has to promote a set of Modern British values to the Indian pouplace. So in return for collaboration and working together, parts of the native culture would have to be radically reformed to set to the modern goals shared by both. This would be achieved through massive investment in education to educate the locals radically with various values of the British like Rationalism,Capitalism, etc and in return vast infrastructure, trade and business development would be done in India to create a win-win situation. Will the Indian native Hindus and Muslims welcome this? Or will it lead to an accelerated fall of the British Empire in India? What are the results if the agreement is okayed? Would Nazis meet their end more early due to the more powerful Empire by British? Will other major powers like Russia and France join this collaboration eventually? How would modern era fare?
