British Garrison in Canada in 1778 and 1779?

Does anyone know (or know where to find) the size of the British garrison in Lower Canada in 1778 or 1779?

This only gives numbers of regiments and companies rather than numbers of troops (i.e. doesn't take whether a regiment was understrength into account) and is from a decade earlier, but it should still be useful.

Neat map; I like how it shows the older depiction of New York as really just being the Hudson River.

GOC has a list of regiments serving in Canada.

Cursorily it looks like a mixed bag of British, Loyalist, Militia and bunch of Germans. No idea on strength, although the Anhalt-Zerbst Regiment is listed as around 600 here.
