In OTL the current state owned Hindustan Aviation Limited was founded as an assembly and overhaul location during the war. A second facility was established outside Peshawar AirBase, this later became Pakistan Aeronauntical Complex, which which manufactures Jet fighters.

Lets say the UK decides in 1940 to establish full fledged A/C manufactuering fascilities at both these locations and elsewhere. The basic idea being to ensure that Far Eastern forces have a shorter route to material and USSR and China can be supported.

How does this change post war India and Pakistan, if they become self sufficient in aircraft for their forces. The US and USSR used aircraft transfers as diplomatic cards in the region, how does that change.
