British, Danish, Dutch and other trading posts at the Goldcoast

Does anyone here has some information about the European tradingposts in the goldcoast/Ghana? I was thinking of possibly creating a Dutch colony there in a timeline with a POD in the early 19th century and was wondering how that could be accomplished. I know that there were still many British and Danish tradingposts scattered around the gold coast together with the Dutch trading posts, but I have no idea where. My idea is that thenetherlands doesn't sell its colonies to Britain and the Dutch and British basicly divide Ghana (with Denmark still selling their colonies to either the Dutch or to the British). But I need to know where the Dutch colonies were and where the Britsh. Does anyone has an idea?

There a couple of good books regarding danish trading posts in the gold coast, but unfortunally they are to my knowledge only in danish!

It is a bit early, but if I may believe wikipedia (and because of a lack of other sources let's just do that) The Portuguese and Brandenburgian outposts became Dutch, so I sort of can use it. Sort of as it looks like what I feared, a scattering of outposts without a clear sign that the Dutch or British were more present in one part or the other. I suspect that the Dutch would not be able (or willing) to just buy the British colonies there. I hoped that the focus of one of them would be in the east or west, so swapping a couple of tradingposts would make two decent colonies out of Ghana. I can still do that, but it looks like I have to flip a coin who gets the east and who gets the west.

Although, if the British have more money and are willing to pay for the Danish outposts, they are more likely to get the eastern part.

BTW I thought that Goree was already lost to the Dutch in 1800

Usefull, thanks. It basicly confirms my suspicions I had: it isn't easy to create two nice colonies out of it, a lot of trading of colonies must still be done. But my Dutch western goldcoast and British eastern goldcoast still semms the best option.
