Even if the Nazi's never got to power I think it is likely (though not inevitable) that Germany would want revenge for WW1 just as France did for the Franco-Prussian War. The war might break out over similar reasons as OTL WW2

This German government isn't obsessed with "living space" but it does want to right the "injustices" of Versailles. So basically it re-militarises as Nazi Germany did and Austria joins it. The Allies protest but let it happen. Then it wants the Sudetenland. A similar Munich Agreement is reached which Germany sticks to ie it doesn't invade the rest of Czechoslovakia as happened in OTL. After that it wants Danzig and a land connection to it.

Of course since Germany did not violate the Munich Agreement it still has better relations with the Allies so it is possible that Britain and France won't back Poland. But assuming they feel that Germany is getting too powerful and needs to be contained and they support Poland after Germany invades the corridor. (In this TL there is no pact with the Soviets; Germany just invades the corridor not half of Poland).

So basically you have the makings of WW2 (the European part) but without the Nazi's. If France falls would Britain ask for terms?
Also there is no Japanese German alliance this is basically a European war.
