Britain without the Napoleonic Wars

Simple enough idea, the wars had a massive impact on the UK's economy, military development, and the national image. Take away Napoleon and nip expansionist France in the butt, and how might have it developed?

So the French Revolution still goes ahead as planned, but just goes in a different direction? I ask because the pure existence of the French Revolution had a major effect on Britain's conception of itself.

Fear of a similar revolution in Britain helped incite reformation. A different outcome to republicanism in France will certainly affect British politics.

The Netherlands keeps the Cape Colony and Guyana, and possibly even Sri Lanka, depending on the POD. There are probablya couple of other colonies that won't end up British, like Trinidad and Tobago.
Belgium probably isn't formed, so that wouldhave a major impact on Britain (although that is more a post Napoleonic thing).

I'm not sure if the idea is that simple.

Napoleon made peace with Britain, not war. Britain went to war with France in 1793, before anyone had heard of Napoleon. After Napoleon came to power, the two countries made peace, and then went to war again.

At the most, getting rid of Napoleon prevents the second war, the one that started after the Treaty of Amiens, or ends it earlier. It doesn't prevent the earlier war. In fact it may even lengthen it.

Britain went to war with the Kingdom of France numerous times, so even getting rid of the French Revolution doesn't necessarily prevent another war. The colonial rivalries still remain. In fact, without the French Revolution, the French Navy is in much better shape than IOTL so no French Revolution may even increase the chances of an Anglo-French War. We are not sure what the attitude of Louis XVII or his ministers would have been.

So which war do you want to get rid of? Just the 1803 one or the 1803 one and the 1793 one too? Or do you just want to get rid of Napoleon? Or somehow remove Napoleon after the Treaty of Amiens?

Britain went to war with France in 1793,

Small nitpick. Wasn't it actually France that declared war ron Britain, rather than vice versa?

Britain went to war with the Kingdom of France numerous times, so even getting rid of the French Revolution doesn't necessarily prevent another war. The colonial rivalries still remain.

Possible war in 1790 over the Nookta Sound dispute. If Louis XVI is still an absolute monarch, he may well support Spain.
